Sam Michlap, the Production Designer at Dreamworks Animation is coming to CDA for a one day workshop on Visual Storytelling.
Sam worked on numerous films such as "The Lion King", "Hunchback of Notre Dame", " The Prince of Egypt", "The Road to El Dorado", "Sinbad", "Shark's Tale" & more recently "Monsters vs Aliens".
This is a not to be missed event for anyone interested in perusing a career in animation or visual development for film production.

CAC July Workshop with Glen Vilppu~!!
Organized by California Art Club, master artist Glen Vilppu will be doing a 5 days Figure Drawing workshop at Concept Design Academy from July 25~29, 10~4PM.
Glenn Vilppu is considered one of today’s foremost draftsmen and instructors in drawing and painting. Trained in the classical techniques of the Renaissance masters, Glenn understands the fundamental language of drawing and is renowned for his ability to communicate and inspire students. He teaches students to understand the construction of the human figure, beginning with the structure of the subject, the bones, then adding the muscles and finally the flesh. This intensive week long workshop will address the fundamentals of drawing the human figure.
Tuition is $425 for CAC Members and $475 for non-members. (Non-refundable 50% deposit due on registration)
Class size is limited to 16 students.
